Dr. Elaine Gutierrez is a board certified pediatrician who has served the South Bay community for 35 years. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 1985. Her first two years of pediatric training were completed at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, and her final year was completed at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance. Her extensive training and medical background have provided her with unique exposure to the diversity of our healthcare system.
Over the last 35 years, we have experienced many changes in the world and in healthcare. However, she believes one thing will never change - the need to connect with one another and the importance of dealing with the matters of our health. It is important to Dr. Gutierrez to connect with children and their parents, allowing her to provide a higher level of care. She has enjoyed watching many kids grow up and start their own families.
Dr. Gutierrez has been married for 34 years; is mother of two adult children and has two grandsons. She now enjoys exploring other countries and loves to walk on the beach.
