Marissa Allison Schwartz, MD is board-certified Otolaryngologist specializing in pediatric care. She earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and completed her residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in pediatric Otolaryngology at Emory University. Her expertise includes pediatric airway and feeding issues, obstructive sleep apnea, and cleft lip and palate. Dr. Schwartz practiced as a general and pediatric Otolaryngologist in Long Beach, California, providing care at Miller Children’s Hospital. She has conducted significant research on Osteogenesis Imperfecta at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital. Now joining the Torrance Memorial Physician Network, Dr. Schwartz looks forward to continuing her work in Southern California and is thrilled to continue to provide compassionate care to new patients in the South Bay community and where she has relocated to be closer to family. She remains actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
