Dr. Susy Yusung, a South Bay native, is a physician board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with a BA and Master’s degree in cellular biology, she attended Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Yusung returned to her hometown Torrance to complete her residency training at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center followed by fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. She was an Assistant Clinical Professor at Harbor UCLA and received several awards in teaching and research before joining Torrance Memorial Physician’s Network.
Dr Yusung’s expertise in pediatric gastroenterology in addition to general pediatrics allows her to help patients with gastrointestinal issues among other health and developmental concerns. Her goal is to help her patients thrive and enjoy childhood.
Outside of her office hours, Dr Yusung enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter.
