Lana Vasiljevic, MD, is licensed by the Medical Board of California. She received her undergraduate education at University of California, Berkeley with dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Dance, Theater & Performance Studies. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Biotechnology at Georgetown University. She earned her Medical Degree at Albany Medical College in upstate New York and returned to Southern California to complete her internship and residency training at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center.
Dr. Vasiljevic finds joy in each child’s uniqueness, meets them where they are, and loves to discover the best ways to address their ever-changing needs at each phase of development. Her special interests within pediatrics include maternal-infant attachment, early childhood development, neurodivergence, mental health, integrative medicine, child abuse prevention and recognition, empowering adolescents/teens, and supporting LGBTQ youth.
She is Croatian, and is fluent in Serbo-Croatian, and prides herself on delivering compassionate and culturally competent care to families of all backgrounds. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and two kittens. She enjoys dancing, roller-skating, tending to her plants, the beach, trying out local coffee shops, and listening to live music.
